Day to day I wonder and wander, wander and wonder... What does life have in store for us? We are here to experience life and all its wonders. We are here to make experiences better, make each other better. Do we each do our part? Do we each chose to be a little nicer, a little more understanding, a little more patient? Do we start each day with the intent to share our best parts with the world?

I'm not sure how all my thoughts in this post are necessarily connected but my Dad and I had a great photo adventure last night and came across a traveling poet! You give her a topic and she writes you a poem, on the spot! What courage to put herself out there, literally on the street corner and put her creativity, her art, her passion to the test - out there for everyone to see.  It was an amazing experience.

Today, I had the chance to catch up with a very creative soul, and it was good for my creative soul! Find those people in your life who inspire you - no matter how well you know them, you may not know them at all. Keep them close to you, stay connected to them. Accept their influence on your life and your art. Those who are your true soulmates will never disappoint. They will challenge you, inspire you, make you think and re-think. They will push you to your limits and beyond. No, not all times will be easy, not all will be the happiest of moments but if you trust in them and in yourself, you'll be all the better for it.

Work in progress...

I've been working on another line drawing since December and have been using the TimeLapse feature on my iPhone to capture the work in progress.  I look forward to posting a video of it once the drawing is complete.  So much work goes into each one, its been fun to watch one unfold through video! More to come, its a lot of lines and circles :)

Websites...

Here it is, my first website! Pretty excited that it's finally up.  It's only taken me a little over a year.  Websites are such a great way to showcase your work, your talent and creativity, to really be able to market yourself as an artist.  I was intimidated by the process of creating a site but was determined to do it myself and, its finally done!

My goal with my site is to get my work out into the world. My hope is that it allows me to do more work, perhaps finding a way for my work to fund itself, and to inspire someone out there to find their creative outlet and explore it to no end!
